The AHFI Love in Action Official Conclusion AVP is the official AVP for the successful Medical & Feeding Mission of Abundant Harvest Fellowship International at Napindan, Taguig on July 26, 2014. The video chronicles the 2nd Love In Action Mission work held recently and the lives we were able to impact, bless and change by the powerful hand of God and His Holy Spirit. We pray that we would stand this upcoming Saturday to once more impact lives and proclaim the Lordship of Christ through love in action. Glory to God!
I’ve noticed a sudden influx of churches proclaiming Lordship; though it might sound wonderful at first; many of these actually stand for easy believism or free grace which is a far cry from sound doctrine; putting it plainly blatant heresy. Remember saints; it is easy to stamp lordship in a message, event or gathering but what really makes it Lordship is the fruit bore in church and in the lives of those who proclaim the Lordship of Christ. Radical Christianity does not mean a tattoo of a scripture verse you like in one arm while randomly proclaiming the gospel in your spare time. Radical Christianity and Lordship Salvation is founded in the newness of life in Christ, completely reformed; not cooperating but firmly submitting; standing as slaves to righteousness in Christ Jesus as we meditate on His word day and night; seeking His truth in all and everything. Lordship means we don’t expand by man made means; but we move forward with God’s hand adding to our number daily. Thus before we state we proclaim Lordship; check your bible reading, check your quiet time, check the preachers you listen to, the church you are part off and test the spirit. Lordship is not a trend, Lordship is simply standing by Bible founded truth. Lordship is when a person hit rock bottom, saw the error of his/her ways- REPENTED, saved through divine election to Sin no more since we stand regenerated by God’s Holy Spirit. Lordship is not a process, its instantaneous. Lordship is not just attending every Sunday or having a hulabaloo party of a youth ministry- Lordship is Serious since Lordship is Life! So before stamping Lordship; ask yourself- Is Jesus Truly The Lord of Your Life?
1 John 4:1-6 – 4 Beloved, do not believe every spirit, but test the spirits to see whether they are from God, for many false prophets have gone out into the world. 2 By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God, 3 and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of the antichrist, which you heard was coming and now is in the world already. 4 Little children, you are from God and have overcome them, for he who is in you is greater than he who is in the world. 5 They are from the world; therefore they speak from the world, and the world listens to them. 6 We are from God. Whoever knows God listens to us; whoever is not from God does not listen to us. By this we know the Spirit of truth and the spirit of error.
Hope you are standing regenerated in all aspect of our existence, Truly proclaiming the Lordship of Christ. Have a blessed day – Pastor Lyle Lopez
In my 10 year journey with my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ I am in Awe of how He positioned me where He thinks is the rightful place for me. God’s Grace made it all clear to me as an elect and set apart for His calling, I understand now that I cannot do as I please. Every inch of movement, every thought, every plan I take I have to surrender unto my Lord. And this is where Lordship Salvation makes it all different with what professing Christians view Lordship is.
More often than not, the more I desire something for myself, I doubt in my heart if this is what my Lord wants for me. I cleave to Him to examine my heart and know His perfect will and not His permissive will for me. If I become insistent of what I just want and move ahead nagging God’s of His permissive will until it manifests, I would not have a clue of how to handle it or at least trouble shoot if it turns out bad in the process. Sometimes the easiest things to accomplish are not of His will. Even if I believe that I can afford to buy something, the more I am finicky to actually purchase it. thus, the more I inquire of God if He wants it for me. There are situations when I believe I should merit something or be given recognition from it, but I stop right there and then and inquire of Him first. The spirit man in me rebukes me, humbles and disciplines me and I’m stirred up by the Holy Spirit not to be assuming. God knows when to reward us. He knows the appointed time of when he will recognized us and be exalted by others and not of our own making.
Have you experienced scrolling on your facebook and suddenly you see your friends and co-workers , co-servants in ministry having a party and you were singled out, as no one invited you to join in. What would your reaction be? Would you dress up and rush in to go and attend as you please without inquiring? Would you sulk in to a pity party and feel sorry for yourself? Or simply trust God with much humility and tell yourself that the host of the party would have invited you if he wants you to be there in the first place. The spirit man in us will keep us secure and not be presumptuous of anything. The spirit man in us will not allow us to go before anything for the sake of our pleasure or displeasure. The golden rule is “Inquire of God ” in prayer. As it is fit to inquire from the authority placed under us. The faithful characters of the Bible always inquired of God and the authority placed under them. The prophets, King David, Joseph and the most faithful servants of God who valued Reverential Fear Of God.
It is always God who will go before us, not us going before God’s will, and the authority placed under us who takes the initiative to decide for the common good.
Here are the 3 solid wisdom and lessons in humility learned in my 10 years of being a follower of Jesus Christ and submitting to His Lordship.
1. Lean not on your own
2. Don’t go before God / Do not go before your authority.
3. Inquire of God / ask, before for actinging upon it. Ask permission / seek discernment.
4.Put things in order. Always work in an orderly fashion.
5. Above all, pray without ceasing. In and out of season.
Trust in the LORD with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;
They said to him, “Inquire of God, please, that we may know whether our way on which we are going will be prosperous.” The priest said to them, “Go in peace; your way in which you are going has the LORD’S approval.”
The LORD himself goes before you and will be with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged.”
1 Corinthians 14:33,40
But all things must be done properly and in an orderly manner.
For God is not a God of disorder but of pe
ace – as in all the congregations of the Lord’s people.
Peace be with you, Truly God is good as we see the fruition of our mission work at Napindan, Taguig . We recently celebrated our 1st Year Anniversary for missions at Napindan. Truly God is good as we witnessed His faithfulness unfold with the opening of our Taguig Campus lovingly named the Upper Room set at the heart of Napindan. It is by God’s goodness that we have been able to hold weekly Dawnwatch service at the new campus, our weekly Armor Bearers Resilient which is the youth ministry of our church set every Friday, and a monthly Main worship at 3 PM every 3rd Sunday.
All this began with a handful of believers who sought to impact the lives of their fellowmen in their neighborhood, the faith to move mountains and the power of God’s Holy spirit that was the driving force to begin missions in Napindan.
Matthew 25:40 states – “Truly I say to you, to the extent that you did it to one of these brothers of Mine, even the least of them, you did it to Me”
This is all possible by the grace of God and the strong passion for the gospel that we see in the saints of AHFi. Though we are a small church; the arm of God through our missions has extended through to impact lives and bless others. I’ve witnessed my dear brethren cook and prepare wonderful dishes to bless the least of our brethren; more so the fire to share the gospel is burning without fail by the power of the Holy Spirit.
Many residents of Napindan, Taguig are but simple people who due to their impoverished state and circumstance have fallen out through the journey of life. Many in their past lives have resorted to crime, and activities that are less savory in nature. Upon given a second chance, these people have shown a desire to renew their ways with resilience to begin well. Our desire is not just to see a change that might one day waver; our desire is to see them stand as New Creations not by might nor power but by the Spirit of God. Thus the mission work is crucial in this part of the Philippines.
Romans 10:13-15 – “For “everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.” How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard? And how are they to hear without someone preaching? And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, “How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!”
Many missionaries would go to the ends of the earth to share the truth of God’s word and His kindness but most of the time we overlook the specific need of missions in our own backyard, in our own community, in the lives of our family, friends and neighbors. Thus we in AHF international would like to strengthen another wing of the ministry God has entrusted us called: Abundant Harvest Missions.
The primary focus of this organization is to strengthen the body of Christ to impact lives in their own country, in their own communities.
James 2:14-18 – “What good is it, my brothers, if someone says he has faith but does not have works? Can that faith save him? If a brother or sister is poorly clothed and lacking in daily food, and one of you says to them, “Go in peace, be warmed and filled,” without giving them the things needed for the body, what good is that? So also faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead. But someone will say, “You have faith and I have works.” Show me your faith apart from your works, and I will show you my faith by my works.”
The work to heal, to bless and to impact has already began a few months back – but to formally launch this God focused endeavor; we would like to hold our 2nd Medical Mission, Feeding Program and Sharing the Gospel on July 26, 2014 which will be held in the Baranggay Hall at Napindan, Taguig.
Isaiah 58:10 – “If you pour yourself out for the hungry and satisfy the desire of the afflicted, then shall your light rise in the darkness and your gloom be as the noonday.”
With this note; I would like to give you a chance to impact lives in the comfort of your own homes.
