The Beauty In Truth: Are You Connected?

Matthew 7:21-23 – 21 “Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter the kingdom of heaven, but the one who does the will of my Father who is in heaven. 22 On that daymany will say to me, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name, and cast out demons in your name, and do many mighty works in your name?’ 23 And then will I declare to them, ‘I never knew you;depart from me, you workers of lawlessness.’

We can obviously identify that Jesus was the one who uttered those words from our key verse. He revealed that there will be fake Christians who will sound religious but don’t really have personal relationship with him. It will never be enough to own Christ as our master, only in word and tongue. It is significant that we believe in Christ, that we repent of sin, that we live a holy life, that we love one another.

Judgment day is approaching. People will be lovers of themselves and will look out for their own interests. Ignatius in A.D. 110 said, “Be not deceived, my brethren: if anyone follows a maker of schism, he does not inherit the kingdom of God.” A Christian who practice division isn’t a true Christian at all. We must learn to identify between the holy and profane so we will not be deceived by the maker of schism. If we love God, we must have an undivided and clean heart. To worship God is to worship Him in spirit and in truth. The book of Revelations tells us that every living persons will be split into 2 groups; the servants of God will bear His seal; which is the law in their foreheads. God clearly states that He gave the Sabbath as a sign of His power to create and sanctify, thus receiving God’s seal is obtained by keeping His law. We must keep his seal if we are truly his obedient servants. I pray that we will not be included in those people who receive the mark of the beast. But we can remind our brethren to draw near to God. But if they reject you in the second time, have nothing to do with them. God will be the one to handle everything and they will pay their sins especially on Judgment.
